Well, hopefully since this was a while ago, you have had time to rethink and have left them alone. If this is the first time you've had them, the pressure to your nail beds is the cause of the pain, as your nails are there to protect the sensitive nerve endings in your fingertips. Once they have recovered, you should not have any more pain unless there is an infection. Keep an eye out for redness of the skin, swelling, or green or black discoloration on the nails. I'd recommend having the nails removed at the salon for the most efficient way and to have the least amount of further pressure on your nail beds. How to remove fake nails??? Pleaseeeeeeee help?
my Girlfriend says use a thing called acetone :S Other wise i have NO clue what so ever.
Go to your local beauty supply store and ask for acrylic remover...you will have to to soak your nails in pure acetone for a few minutes until the acrylic softens and is sort of gel like and buff off the remains to speed up the process....or you can go back to the nail salon and pay a small fee for them to soak them off. Or just wait it out...the pain will be gone by the morning...
Since they're freshly applied they're going to be very hard to take off even at the salon.

I think that you need to relax, let your nails acclimate to them and then discuss removal at the nail salon with the professionals.
Oh dear. I really recommend you go back to a salon and have someone else remove them for you. I had fake nails, but I wear contacts and I found it really frustrating to remove contacts with these giant nails. I'm also a student, so I write pages of notes every day, with fake nails using a pen is difficult. I poured nail polish remover into a dish and sat outside to soak my nails. You will want to do this outside, because the smell is terrible. It took at least 4 hours to remove my nails. I would soak for 30 minute intervals, and then rip at my nails and ram a knife under them trying to separate the fake and real nails. After 4 hours, my fake nails were off, but my real nails were brittle and thin. I had to cut them down to stubs (and even the stubs broke!). I definitely do NOT recommend this, go to a salon. Trust me, I'm one to do everything myself, and this is one thing that I do not recommend!

***IMPORTANT*** If you wear contact lenses, remove them BEFORE you sit around acetone for hours on end. The fumes will penetrate your contact lenses and get trapped against your eyes. This WILL result in severe BURNING for several hours after the process. You will not feel anything at first, but after 4-5 hours, both your eyes will start burning. Trust me on this!! Burning, red eyes HURT!

my advice from another site: http://www.tellmehowto.net/howto/remove_鈥?/a>

why the acetone is a bad idea: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf319663.tip.h鈥?/a>
you let them soak in nail polish remover %26amp; i mean SOAK afterwards you should put a protecting coats over your nails to make sure they dont get damaged it probaly shouldnt hurt this much.
I use some stuff called Tips be gone....Its pretty much just straight acetone. (You can get it at walmart or any drug store in the nail section) Let your fingers soak in it for a while til you start to feel the nail coming off and then maybe try to pull them off. Good Luck!
Pour the nail polish remover into a bowl and soak your nails. It will take a while but eventually the acrylic will soften and you will be able to peel it off. I would recommend waiting until morning when you can get them taken off perfessionally though...it will save some damage to your natural nails.
If you wear false nails, then one of the biggest perils can come when it comes to actually taking off the nails, as this can damage the real nails if not done carefully.

The fake nails can also be hard to remove - good at most times, but annoying when you actually want them to come off! Here's what to do.

First off, soak in nail polish remover until they are loose and start to peel. Otherwise you will hurt nails - certainly never, ever use brute force.

The bottom line is that you must just soak and wait. There is no other way. Also ensure that between uses of fake nails you allow the real nails to breathe for at least a couple of weeks.

OR................

FX is not sure if you had your artificial nails applied at a salon or applied them yourself. The best option to remove your nails if you had them put on at a salon or even at home is to visit a salon for proper removal. However, this may not be an option. The best way to remove your nails at home is to soak your fingers in acetone or acetone-containing nail polish remover for 15 minutes and then proceed to remove your nails gently from the cuticle up. You can use a clean fingernail file to do this. Be careful that you soak your nails long enough to loosen them and be careful when removing them. After removing them, consider soaking your nails in rubbing alcohol for 5-10 minutes to clean the nail bed area and do not forget to apply lotion to your nails to keep the skin around your cuticle healthy.

It is very important to keep our nails healthy. Nail infections are very common and often overlooked. Artificial nails can be a source of bacterial and/or fungal infection. To avoid this, wash your hands regularly. It is best to trim your nails weekly, but be careful to not trim them too short which may traumatize the skin around the nails. If you do have artificial nails, be even more careful to wash your hands. If your fake nail starts separating from your natural nail, soak your nails in alcohol before reapplying your artificial nail. This will help ward off germs which can cause infection. If you do have your artificial nails put on at a salon, it might be worth the time to inquire about the sanitation standards of the salon. How do they clean their equipment and how often? Have they had problems with customers getting nail infections? If you get pedicures, how often do they change the filters in their foot massagers?

Toenails should also be kept trimmed and clean. If you use a locker room/gym facility, it is best to wear shoes at all times to avoid contact with the floor. Keep feet clean and dry and wear cotton socks. Nail infections can manifest as yellow nails or black discoloration of the nail area. If this occurs, schedule an appointment with your doctor because you may need to be put on medicine to avoid spread of the infection.
give it a day or two, if you've never had the salon nails done it'll take a few days for your nails to get used to them.
Don't peel them off. Soak them in nail polish then slowly chizzle them off. If you had to go to a professional to get it done.
