Are fake nails for men too?

ok so im 13 im a guy, and i bite my nails CONSTANTLY and they bleed and it hurts, what should i do? i asked around and some friends suggested fake nails (press on not professional) but will they look to girlie bc i don't need that, lol so what should i do, guys and girls opinions accepted:DDAre fake nails for men too?

NO I wouldn't suggest it. I have applied a corrective layer to a few mens nails because they were damaged and it was due to trama to the nail and I built up a nail to camophlage it. THey had to maintain it by coming in every few weeks. For you I would suggest getting a manicure. Men love manicures and theres nothing wrong with that. If you are gay than fine, but if not, then you would be teased to have fake nails on. Just think of the gross stuff that is on your finger that you pick up throughout the day, and when you put your fingers in your mouth, ewwwwwwww thats nasty thought should pop in your head. Its only a habit you can break!!!
no fake nails are not for guys. i dont even think they look good on most girls. have you tried any of those nail polishes that you paint on your nails so you stop biting them cos it tastes really bad? i dont know how good they are cos i have never bitten my nails, but thats my only suggestion.





painting your nails really isnt very hard once you get the hang of it, and if you are using something clear it wont matter if you dont do it perfectly.


firstly make sure there isnt too much polish on the brush. wipe the excess off on the rim of the bottle (so it goes back into the bottle) then just do one stroke down the middle of your nail and one on either side. if you find that your hand is really unsteady you can try holding the brush still and slowly moving your nail instead. hope this helps! :)
Nooooo fake nails are not for guys! Plus, they usually are really long (as the point is to make your nails look longer). They would look very awkward and I think your friends were joking...





Just keep telling yourself not to bite your nails. You could put a little nail polish remover on your nails in the mornings so they taste really bad (I'm a girl, but that's what I did and it worked).

chew on some gum or something.


also, they have products that you put on your nails that taste DISGUSTING. i reccomend that. they sell it at wal greens i think.
You can actually get this stuff you put on your nails which has a terrible taste, it is like nail polish but specifically designed to stop nail biters
Keep your nails filthy. Eventually you will be too disgusted and stop biting them. Or wear clear nail polish on your nails. you will be disgusted by the taste
first of all yes men can wear fake nails if they wish but i do not really think they are a great solution for nailbiting
NOOOO.....if anything put a clear coat on! it should help and when you bite your nails it wont taste too well
Nurture your natural nails. That will solve the problem.

ok dont wear fake nails ppl will think ur gay... just put some clear nailpolish on ur nails cuz it will taste so bad that u won't wanna bite them...
